Replacing  the Actual

Each morning,
I awake to thoughts of you,
replacing the actual.

Throughout the day,
I hold onto the tenderness
I know that is you.

Come the night,
I take you with me
traveling my dreams...

Waiting for your return.

~Wynter

Dear Wynter, if we hold onto our desires and happy thoughts thoughout each day, the actual is surely present but for the being and our mind can be at peace and have patience till the time is right.

Great write.
