Shoulders molded
she sits in form of question mark--
"Why?" is what her body asks...
the pain is etched upon her face
her smiles are forced and painted
and behind her eyes
lies nothing of the joy I knew
her eyes always mirrored HIM--
and now they look as his did,
vacant and unseeing
as she moves slowly
through her lifeless life
without him.

(I don't know how to reach her, Dad...
I don't know what to do...
I wish that you could tell me how
to bring her home to us
while she wishes herself
to be with you...)

Mom, I want to comfort you...
I want to give you life
as you gave me...
I want to rock her gently
but she stiffens at any touch
as if happiness were blasphemy
to his memory...

We miss you Mom.
We need you.
Come home?

This tears at my heart, what love is written in your words. Give her time, and continue to love and be there for her. Take care

Oh, Serenity~
As tender as anything I'll read this night~

Touch her gently with his remember ...
let her grieve her grief ...
talk of him to her still~
For all that she is feeling be aware~

It won't ever be the same for her either, honey~
Be gently loving ... and remember to talk her memories with her~

Tomorrow's not always brightest ...
when the sun has set for the heart~

Time, gentle time ... will bring her back to you~

*Special hugs* sent for you and for Mom~
I love ya'~

Your words sent a chill down my spine and your grief and torment were felt vividly throughout your words.  So sorry am I to hear of your loss and I'm sure your Mum has so much love around her at this difficult time, I guess her grief is clouding her thoughts and not allowing the love to envelop her.  My thoughts are with you and your family.  I will write to you soon.
Take care........Sue

Just keep trying! Your children will most likely be the first to bring a smile back
to her face. You have been very strong during this time in your life. Remember to take some time for yourself.

Dear Serenity, a very tender write, but I will tell you true, regardless of how they are acting, it is shock, and will take about six months to ease off. It will run the gauntlet of sadness, grief and yes, even being mad for leaving..just be there, for her, for you and for your Dad...very gentle tender smile

serenity, you really wonder what is behind those sightless eyes.  And you are hurting twice as much with them both gone.  If she isn't physiclly ill, you will have a better chance. Lots of hugs and the hope she comes back into your life soon.  You wrote the words very well.  ME

You know the answers to these questions asked so keep writing your tears and fears, it is a healing process.  Be there for each other and soon all will be well.  A heartfelt write.

If you have but one true friend when you die you were truly blessed
