The final flight

I have searched the infinity of desire
With beating wings in the molasses of mire
And I have searched the forever of time
On the magic carpet of poetic rhyme

I have created a world of decision
With a paintbrush and palette of vision.
I have harnessed the wild of agony
And over come the terms of ecstasy.

I’ve danced with the moon in the light of high noon
With silver shadows on the edge of high soon
I have challenged the stars and galaxies far
And used them to light the richest of moiré

For truth and lies are the wings of the dove
And everything begins and ends with love
If you touch the touchstone of understand.
It vibrates the strings of ocean and sand.

It is the way to the door without key
The goal and the soul of the sand and the sea

OH SY!!!! I am the one flying...
this is AWESOME...what a very very cool poem...
this is a perfect example of what made me fall for your poetry so long ago...
you capture so much and write with so much vision..
and wrap it all up in your always impressive gift for cadence and rhyme...
I LOVE THIS POEM!!
You rock when you fly Sy-babes...

Precious rhythm you are my guide
These days are sacred, my heart is humble

If I've read more genuine words, I can't remember when.

Oh my Seymour ... the sentiments captured throughout the poem are beautiful in cadence and rhyme, but I must say, your closing line is simply exquisite!

"The goal and the soul of the sand and the sea"

This just rolls through the mind with perfection! MUCH enjoyed!

Best wishes,
/Kit
