You came as a pup, anxious to please
and in a moment, my heart you did seize.
Your eyes belittled the size of your frame,
so I knew Isaac would have to be your name.
All so wise, I knew you would be,
protector of your tribe, that would be me.

Ahh, I loved seeing you grow,
playing and jumping in Colorado snow.
Then we traveled here and there,
and never did you show that you would care.
For as long as we were together was all you asked,
our love for each other was scarcely masked.

My brother did sculp in stone, your shapely head,
but every night you would lay by my bed.
In all my troubles, you were always by my side,
surely you knew we would survive.
There will never be another quite like you,
for to you and you to me, there was only love so very true.

In memory of Isaac, to whom the sage was burnt,
whiffed by the eagle feather to speed his way.

Loved
Forever

But the images brought to life in your words were more than enough for eyes to see, my friend.  Lovely thoughts, lovely write... Besides...don't feel bad, you don't see images with my stuff because I haven't been able to make it work yet either...I just edit the boo-boo out faster than you...hee, hee.

Logan-
This touched me deeper than you know, my friend.
I'm such a lover of animals of all kinds,
and this just reached in and tugged my heartstrings.
You are such a gentle and loving man to
   have written this.
Thanks for sharing it with us.

   hugs,

Oh Gosh, thats so exactly how I felt (and still do, 3 years later) about my Mia kitty, she was my baby for 19 years almost. And now gone, and it still makes me cry.
Beautiful writing Logan, filled with love.

ah...mine was "Bubba"...
will send you a pic if ya like, it's just so sad. At the time I couldn't understand why the boyfriend took such a sad picture--but it is now among my cherished memories. And Bubba? I carry in my heart.

Logan you heart is showing again!  There is no greater loss than that of a pet as they are always so loyal and all they want is love.  You imortalized your friend well in this for your daughter.  May he rest in peace.

Your words are more than the pictures, but we do glimpse the source of your inspiration...

all animals should be held in high regard...yes even mosquitos...they feed the birds!

this moved me, fewer things are as traumatic as losing a beloved pet.
