Dark and dusty lies the street
As I stand alone in the night
Walking amongst the biting heat
Facing solo my undaunted plight

The abyss of darkness encircles all
For this there is no solution
As is the case for the woman I call
Within a far deeper pollution

Given my heart, and everything more
Yet she threw it all away
Having taken my soul and core,
My feelings doth she slay

So hence, for whatever morning come,
I remain asunder, never again,
To know forever the pain of some,
A relic of today's disdain.

Wow I'm amazed

You don't have a choice to die but you do have a choice how you meet it.

Yah...our toes hurt when stepped on, and especially when rolled over by loves weight,
but we let them heal, then go fishin'again...
and again if need be, because the alternative means withering away to nothing when theres plenty to eat...

Very nice first post ... and WELCOME TO PASSIONS, a place where friendship is rampant and you're always welcome...
