I could not tell
from the remnants
where the heart
or the heartache
began

So, seamstress
that I am not
I won't know where
to begin
the mend

Look for the scars... memories... and start from there mending forward. Hold the past in loving memory, to visit with recollections, but not to live there and dwell. Start at the scars and mend forward. :-)

Oh, I like this so much! I wish I had more to say: perhaps that it gave me a smile and an ache? Lovely, just lovely.
