~*~ Concerto ~*~

We sail on a sea of love, two hearts so in tune.
You turn and smile that beckoning smile.
Pulling me close beside you, fumbling to tune me,
And once more I am playing to your desires.

Every note, and cord sends chills down my spine,
Rekindling a fire long forgotten in my soul.
You awaken a summer day in my winter,
And yet I know this concerto of love won’t last.

Soon our silent melodies begin to resonate,
Your fingers probe and tug at my inner core.
You play me like a perfect song on a Stradivarius,
Pulling gently on my loosened heartstrings.

I love you so much and ache for wanting you,
But tonight I will listen to your beautiful music,
Allow you to tug at my heartstrings, so play on.
One more night we shall make love's sweet music.

I sail along under the stars with you to heaven,
There is no song to describe the love I feel for you,
And I must send the sheet music to the wind,
As I know this concerto of love is not forever.

May you always be uncased and your rythym to his taste. Enjoyed.

Standing ovations and roses tossed upon your lovely stage..~*~winks~*!
Sharon...this was so very beautiful.  I know in my lifetime the music has never seemed to last, but I feel that I have finally found the lyrics destined for the song of my life...a concerto that will be played forevermore.  Thank you for touching my heart with your lovely music!
Hugs, smiles, and much love to you...see you soon...~*~dawn*~

Shadow Of The Fall ~ thank you I love putting the two together, and seem not to be able to do one without the other!

Martie - Yes what is love without music if not audible if only in the heart? Thank you for reading this.
