.....what comes.....

in no way am I your lone amaze
or even your awe to inspire

I know naught what could elevate
a skein of thought somewhat higher

though residing is this lingering,
quickening prosaic conspire

its arcing, sparking, non-contained
danger’s caress by a live wire

you may not envision this force
as its mêlée shows in my face

distance parts me from any one
who might feel it in my embrace

it rumbles, grows, some quivering shows
waiting in diffuse disquiet, it glows

so plant a seed, then tick forward time
as moment’s desire springs forth in chime

what then shall come from this
overt portent by silent kiss

It's the vacuum which invites lightning and the unseen tremble whose energy is anything but inert. Enjoyed

A "thank you"
whispered in silence
to your distant
ear
in quivering voice
unheard.

Let thy moon arise.  William Blake

Decaflame, you know just when I think I have found my favourite part of the poem, I read the next part, and chance my mind. I guess if I had to choose it would be the entire poem.
