Soft Whispers On Sighs ~*Marge Tindal*~  I stand in the wind and you speak my name An ocean away I hear the refrain Heartbeat on heartbeat, soft whispers on sighs Starlight and moonbeams light up the night sky Stage curtain opens, ebony of night Cascading of scenes in sheerest delight Spotlighting stars aglow with the embers Whispering sighs so softly remembered I send you a thought on beckoning wind Knowing you will catch the heartbeat I send I watch and listen until sweet dawning Your breath on the wind catches me yawning Far across the ocean on sandy shores You stand guard in the wind, forevermore Graphic -Jean Paul Avisse ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
