Let me stretch
Before you
Not in worship
But in splendor
At the beauty
You bestow
In your ever
Changing moods
Do you see how
All the lights
Of heaven sparkle
In delight at
Your majestic
Presence
Oh moon,
An ever present
Comfort to my
Soul

i too share your love for the moon...she is a very influential part of my life..i enjoyed this poem very much.

Your use of simple language strengthens the impact of this poem reminding me of the influence the moon has over bodies of water.
