Rewrite:

A Drone For a throne

A pensioned flight is Shangri-la
A knight that waits the queens bizarre
A chosen few he bows to her
And offers up his last hurrah

The queen is dead long live the queen.
Death an honor without demean
His courage is the final bed
And new awaits the new dauphine.

The queen is dead long live her reign
An empire she must maintain.
There is no question of the why
Produce or die remains her bane.

Of all the ways to dusty rest
I think by far this is the best
Ten million years of crest and try
Ten million years of try and test.

For in the end they both were served
And merit well what they deserved.

We usually do 'get what we deserve' in life, Sy - nice analogy here...

And you, our Sy, have more than once, "crest the test"...

well done!
