I don't like my hair.
There's too much of it.
And it runs wild
Like crab grass
Across my head.
But, I won't cut it.
I just let it fly.
Because I inherited
From Her, The crazy mane
She once possessed
When young and beautiful
But Cancer and Chemo
Gave her head, slick
We laugh a lot now
Because she is alive
And I have enough
Hair, for us both.

Regina, this is a deviation of your type, and simply wonderful. I am so enamored of the other style, but this was most captivating, starting out kind of humorous and leading into something serious.
Really well done.

Snoogy: Thank you! I'm trying something new. Something of the mundane and simple, things that we sometimes take for granted. But really mean a lot to us. I wonder if there is a form or style name of this sort. Like
Rosswel (really, ordinary, simple, stuff, we,love)

Marge: Thanks! Soooooooo are you!

Catalinamoon: I just love that name so I always spell it out. Yes, way off from my normal weirdness! LOL but My Mom is purely and simply marvelous. Too many words would have spoiled the constancy she has been to me. You don't know how much it means that you noticed!

Sincerely,
Regina

Regina, nothing is more beautiful than when it's from the heart.
