The Plead

head thrown back
arms raised to blue
in beseech of tears
to drown rooted fears

fingertips wavering
blown about by sighs
naked before you I
am sorrow realized

a bit of life still in
me remains, my skin
crusted by time, my
words, but lost rhyme

though I raise me upward
in my silent seek
see vestige of me still
know my silence speaks

very very cool m'lady...
thy muse finds inspire in the most clever of places.
well done poetess of white...very well done

I know no one is to blame
In time youll feel strength when you call my name
I know Ill never hold you again
And I know Ill never be the same

"fingertips wavering
blown about by sighs
naked before you I
am sorrow realized"

A touch of green remains,
A dream of being strains,
Catching dreams within the sighs
Ever reaching to the skies

Very nice

Enjoyed your writing

Gloom

Professor Gloom....a wonderful addition...I know you are a hard poet to please, so I am truly humbled by your response.  Thank you!

Constance...thank you so very much for sharing your thoughts on this with me...

JanetMarie, what might I say, little Moth, that you will not turn around and outshine?  Warm hugs, little one....

Isn't it the touch of green that counts? For it is life, going past what is dead, to reach out, to seek, to live..nice write..very gentle smile
