Angelic Offerings A whisper on the wind brings The promise of Angel’s touch To my chest these gossamer wings I hold close and lovingly clutch Gentle breeze carries sweet perfume Of rain scented sighs As the tender flights of love resume In the violet of twilight skies Reaching out to trace apparitions of love A Soulful embrace as the heavens sing Swaying under the stars above Delighting in the peace you bring Together we dance through the velvet mist On a carpet soft, Jacaranda blue Our love the reason we exist My dreams of tranquillity reflect in you Two hearts in rhythm bridge across the miles Oblivious to all, there's no one but you The acceptance found within your smiles There’s no greater gift than you |

Take one Eagle...sprinkle with a Butterfly ..stir in some rhyme divine... and ya got poetry in motion  Very well done me sweets. jm PS..hey E, patience pays off dont it LOL (ya cant rush a butterfly and her rhymes)  I know no one is to blame |

Eagle my dear friend...thank you for having the patience to wait with this weave...7 mos of waiting for me to finish...well that would drive most poets insane...but not you o'patient one  It was a pleasure to write this with you and the gift of your friendship for over a year now has brought such happiness to my life...I am better for knowing you~  Thank you to all of you that have voiced you words of encouragement and praise on this post, Eagle is a wonderful poet and deserves the praise that you so richly give. |
