It was you who made me smile As you chased the dark clouds away It was you who stayed by my side Throughout my dark depressing days It was you who brought me rainbows And made my soul soar way up high In your presence I felt invincible Like I could almost touch the sky You took my hand and brought me love A love so pure like the wings of a dove You opened up my eyes and made me see How much love existed deep inside of me You gave me strength as you guided me Away from my sadness and grief Finally I was able to smile again As I experienced such feelings of relief You brought me so much confidence I once lacked within myself No longer did I feel like an ornament That collected dust upon a shelf You gave my life new meaning There was nothing I couldn't do How wonderful they are All these feelings I have for you Suetang |

I am truly overwhelmed by the response to this poem which I must admit is a favourite of mine....the words just came so easily for me on this one. You are all so inspiring in your kindness and warmth that you continually give to me and I am forever grateful. Lisann Thank you so much for your concern but I also write under the name "Wisteria" on other sites. Many people write under different names on different sites.
