If the world were to end tomorrow
and all the material things
we once owned were no more -
taken with the wind
lost at sea
gone forever
We would still possess
the most priceless of gifts -
our love for one another

Your love is worth more to me than gold
It lays deep within my heart
and encases my inner being
Your love is like a sacred jewel -
a treasure chest within my soul
the chain of gold around my neck
Your love burns like an eternal flame
that lights my way and warms my heart

You are the music accompanying my words
as our hearts sing perfectly in tune
like a beautiful symphony
No audience is required
for this spectacular show
We have all we need -
two lovers
two hearts
one soul
and a neverending ballad of love

Splendid write, Sue.  You truly are wealthy and blessed my friend.  Never let it go.

Suetang, so very beautiful! I feel like I am repeating myself, but I am serious, I find it beautiful!
