Lord, As If That Wasn't Enough ...
~*Marge Tindal*~

Lord, you drew the curtain on a perfect day
Laid her down in magenta array
Tucked her in amidst crimson and gold
Pillowed her softly on silken skies of old

Just before she closed her eyes
You sent nightingale to sing soft lullabies
And then Lord, as if that wasn't enough
a rainbow danced briefly, just off the bluff

Then as you reached to turn out the light
she blew a kiss to the stars in the heavenly night
I want to say thanks, Lord, for all that you do
I'll be up on the morrow, to see more of you

This poem reminds me of something I heard in a sermon given by a chaplain in Viet Nam.He said."The lord loves you wither you believe in him or not".

Marge,
I wish all my days were as pretty as you make them sound in this poem. You have a wonderful way of expressing yourself and giving the Lord credit for his part because without him there would not be the pretty sunsets or risings.
Thanks again,
Gail

We all see it everyday but sometimes it takes the heart of one such as yourself to teach us to look at it.  Wonderfully penned and of course in the hands of one such as yourself, how could we not stop to reflect on the beauty that you remind us to appreciate.  You see, feel, and express this gift bestowed upon us so well that you cannot not be ignored. (NOT that we would want to anyway)  Love it sweet maiden.

Isn't it beautiful the things that God does. He doesn't need a can or a brush or even words to say. Even so we all gaze in awe. He's an artist par excellant.

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.
