Just a Pillow A pillow A form in my mind Soft and comfortable Becalming and kind Strange, it becomes So warm and molding Strange how it acts My dreams beholding It’s just a pillow Only sees me at night Doesn’t even move But it feels so right It’s fluff and material A shape, nothing less Takes a cherished dream Only my cheek to caress Just a pillow A place for some ease But somehow it finds me And gives me release Allows in my reverie Once, and again, you It’s just a pillow In coverlet blue |
