Forget me
now I am forgot
within me
think the things I ought
to live another yesterday
and bold receipt of all I bought--
a church in chime
won't ring again
the chapel rhymes
in spite of sin
like a fish by one fin caught
to swim again the thoughts of naught....
every yester-rhyme rings true
every tear swims home to you
every droplet drips in seek
a river, dredging you in me.

You dip your poet pen in the ink of
yester-thought
And what wonderful phrases it has
magically wrought
Well done!

I wanted to pop in quickly to say thanks to everyone--hopefully I can write happier thoughts in days to come. Love to all, with gratitude.
