If I had a penny
For every thought Ive had of you
I'd have a copper mountain
High as the sky so blue.

And if I made a wish
On every penny in that hill
I'd wish for you to love me
And that you always will.

I'd never spend a penny
Of the wishes I had made
I'd keep them close inside my heart
And never let them fade.

Pennies arent as precious
From a riches point of view
But I'll gather these pennies every day
Because penny wishes do come true.

Paula~
This is full of lovely thoughts.
I am reminded of the 'penny for your thoughts' saying ...

Very nicely said.

my twin, this is wonderful, and hopeful, and I collect pennies.  Maybe I should start wishing with them!!

I collect pennies and always feel
"rich" when they pile up and I love the thought behind this one, Paula.
