In The Melt Of Twilight

~*Marge Tindal*~

Meet me in the melt of twilight
Sway me as the moon comes out to play
Dip me a cup of starlight fizzing
Bubbling across the Milky Way

Periscope the sisters of the Pleiades
In flight from Orion of greatest might
Hold me in constellation's beauty
Through the romance of the night

Color me indigo with brilliance
Under this sky in sparkling array
Meet me in the melt of twilight
After the sun has ceased the day

In this hush of twilight cascading
Whisk me quickly into your arms
In the melt of twilight falling
Let's experience night's sweet charms

Oh, boy, that sounds romantic to me...what an enchanting write, Marge...I love it!

sp

it was love that first drew me,
it is love that will keep me here...
now I see love burning brightly
when everything else is unclear...

Marge--I must go to the desert to see stars like that, but through love's eyes...the possibilities are endless.

Well I went all mooney over this romantic one that is for sure.  This put me in mind of Perry Como, want to sing it together now, and a 1, and a 2, and a 3......

"Don't let the stars
Get in your eyes
Don't let the moon
Break your heart
Love blooms at night,
In daylight it dies
Don't let the stars
Get in your eyes
Or keep your heart from me
For some day I’ll return
And you know
You're the only one
I'll ever love"

Logan~
You know that moonlit sky does romantic things
to the notions in my head.

*Sharing info on the graphic -
quote:
These two dazzling clusters of stars, called NGC 1850, are found in one of our neighboring galaxies, the Large Magellanic Cloud. The photo's centerpiece is a young, "globular-like" star cluster -- a type of object unknown in our own Milky Way Galaxy. The smaller second cluster is below and to the right of the main cluster. The stars are surrounded by a filigree pattern of diffuse gas [left], which scientists believe was created by the explosion of massive stars. Released from NASA on July 10, 2001

SnowPants~
Thanks.  It does make for a romantic setting.

Sometimes you just gotta get out and keep looking up !
It is a beautiful sight.

And I'll bet you found 'endless possibilities' on your trip !

Mysteria~
You KNOW I love Perry Como songs !

Tee-Hee !
It was one of those 'car' tunes !
Of course me little romantic muse sang it to me and I just had to 'customize' it to fit the graphic !

Now I have to know what picture this is of.  Unromantic, I know, but not constellations.

This was so very beautiful.  There's nothing like being under a moonlit sky, admiring the constellations with the one you love.
Take care......Sue
