Remember me beloved…

The heavy air circled around me
With its emptiness within, the black clouds filled above me
The mausoleum’s magnificent mirage
The fairies forty winks alongside Odin, her slayer
A winged angel accompanied by peace
The mighty gargoyle glowered at us
In me the statue of the pariah
Water drops unto the rough concrete
My still lingered love left unpolished
Thousand years I bore this anguish
And yet even more I loved
Remember me beloved…

When a creature’s only wish is to be left alone
Unaware of the powers of nature
She tampered the gates of seclusion
And invoked love within me
Untouchable by others, she touched
Ignominy in the eyes of others, she cared
Her presence more than her warmth restrained me
Adieu to the Gargoyle that left me
Welcome O’ Odin, yielding thy rapier
And serene those who deceive

Of all the forces of nature,
I always filled the gaps of mockery
For all was lost when I saw her in the hands of another
Rage filled me for she had promised
Hope shattered for she had promised
I cried again in the walls of solitude
No one shared my pains

I Damned her

My mind was filled with thoughts of silence
An outcast in the eyes of others
I was left along to torment
I was doomed to suffer in Hell
While she stayed on cloud nine

Again she tampered the gates of seclusion
I had always wanted to remain with her
“Come forth”, I said as I shed my hands toward her
I closed the gates behind her…
My still lingered love left unpolished
Thousand years I bore this anguish
And yet even more I loved
I knelt down towards the sepulcher and lay the flowers
Whispering softly, ‘Remember me beloved…’

(in this poem the man's love is dead...Thats why he is visiting her in the graveyard...and then he has these past memories of his past of how much he loved her...but then the suspense draws in on how she died and the truth is he was the one who killed her since she betrayed him...hence 'he closed the gates behind her')

Sean!  This is a very, very good poem!  I enjoyed each and every line, as it drew my gaze down the page! Well done!

Very Hitchcock and mysterious to me. Luring one to read. Very nicely done.
Sincerely,
Regina
