*Happy Birthday Sandra. . .

the song begins
“Catalina, with the ships
                               upon the shore. . .”
and she sleeps
          and she dreams

there he is
waiting for her
she knows that
he’s going to be there
he always is

who is he?
knight?  poet?  artist?
he is all of these
and none
he is just a man
a man
       who holds her
              in his heart

the song ends:
“Catalina, my hope burn
                               like a light. . .”

and she awakens
         and she dreams

she asks how can this be?

he simply answers
       don’t you know that
       dreams can come true
       when you’re dancing
       ‘neath the Catalina Moon?

How romantic and a beautiful keepsake for her. Very nice!

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.

Ah, John I am so choked up. Thank you and I know Miss Elise had some sort of hand in the pot here, and to all of you , thank you . I have been so down, this has made a big difference.
Love you all
PS What a gorgeous Poem. I am getting a color cartridge and printing it and framing it.
