A Better End

A thought forbid, forgotten well hid
A bane that laid and pickled my brain
A grid of rage that lived in my ID
Caused me to change from Abel to Cain.

Triggered by the drip of acid rain
A blast of ire exploding the blight
Burned by a fuse that fired insane
Lighting a blaze that lit up the night.

A wick that set deep in its tallow
Woke up my demons, dragons of fright
Uncovered the mirrors of shallow
Showed me my fangs and teeth that will bite.

It once more showed me my feet of clay
That I thought out the mire of scorn
Once more covered the green of my way
There seems no end to being reborn.

I know each flower has bloom and blend
But yet to figure each subtle end

Dark, stark, leaving
it's mark and breathing
a quark of mad....

Well done Sir!

Wow, awesome imagery.  I much enjoyed this one.  It was kind of like being taken along on a scary sort of ride that ended pleasantly.  Hope that makes sense!
