Heart-Words

It's been some time now, thoughts have accrued.
I sit here in darkness, melancholy in mood.
The past is the past, as the present renews.
I watch, my eyes listening, to the silence of blues.

It's been some time now, you've left me alone.
The Great Expectations have all been unsown.
Strewn upon groundings, spread through the air.
I watch, my eyes listening to once upon share.

I notice the thinning of thoughts plagued of past.
Replaced by new worries of futures to cast.
But calm has become me, this morning of heat.
I watch, my eyes listening to heart-words, in beat.

Someday, the time will remove me from you.
In total the memories shall remain, but be true.
Outdistanced you'll be, when my heart shall be filled.
And within words of love, a new world, will I build.

It's been too long now, the lonelys been had.
Time has arrived for a softness to add.
The forgiven in me shall allow not the fear,
Only heart-word tomorrows with today's persevere.

~Wynter

~Yes, yes, yes to the last bit! - I enjoyed the sliver of hope that ran through this. Well done. And yes, heart word tomorrows, how lovely. *Peace.

Quite sad, yet pretty are your thoughts.
