Now I understand the rough
papered sand--and too much tough--
wine in sparkles in a glass
integrity--how long they last
in linger at the bottom dwell
and sudden burst of freedom swell--
in the comfort of a group
the bubbles rise and form a troup...
a ballet formed within a glass--
bursting bubbles--waterdance.

You've left me thinking that you are trying to count each and every one...

this is the third poem I've read about booze! That's it, I'm going out for something cold!  Loved it!

Thank you all for the replies, but I have requested that this poem be deleted as it is too similar to one I read here recently--my apologies to Helen...it must have stuck in my subconscious and emerged with all those tiny bubbles... (mimosa's the other night, yanno...) *hic*?

and I request it NOT be deleted
though similar NOT the same
I’m flattered and may we all spark each other
And I’ll join you in a clink of glass and a sip of mimosa
