I Can Hear The Angels Sing By: Noah Eaton 8/5/01 I can hear the angels sing, deep in your embrace Moaning hymns through every heartbeat I’ve bade Since the day I pledged my heart to you, my angel Sauntering in the garden of your heart, among these blossoming willows Slow down my beating heart, O’ sweet Aphrodite Crown your shimmering head and scatter the stars as we dream Light the room as I make love to her Under velvet skies of passion spangled with yellow embers Touch me, sweet darling, may Destiny be our supreme consort Hand in hand may we stand, singing songs only lovers hearts can forte I will gladly welcome you into my arms and recite this hymeneal Inspired by the angel in you, which has helped me harken love’s call Far down in your heaven is where I’ll embower Resting beside you in this bed of flowers Beneath where the cupid hath fired his golden arrow Whimsically attracting us together as two spirits, drinking from one hearts marrow I can hear the angels sing The day I fell in love with you And every time our lips will kiss I can still feel the heavens responding…with you |
