Safe Catch

ordinary glance
his heart skipped a beat then slipped
safe into her hands

I'm new here but i think I understand this.  It's like mixing love and football to me.

I love minimalist poetry. Here is one you might like.

                Glance

               No words said.
               Standing apart.Still,
               They speak love.

I hope his heart is safe there, this is a lovely thought.

~grins~ I got a very cute, very LITERAL image from this lol  (think hands cupped for water and a slippery valentine-heart shaped heart). I like ~warm smile~.

That's where his heart belongs

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.

Many interpretations to this one: football, baseball, fishing.  I prefer football myself.  You go out for the long pass and catch safe as the gridiron battles at the scrimmage (they thought it was a rush).  Here's one Hail Mary to you.
