The spectrum of thought
Swinging, ticking off track
Blue, haze of Grail
Sir Lancelot slays the day
In your white horse saunter
Yes, I will ride, but alone
This paper trail of confusion
Smile, It's soul depends on it
As the reaper may wait
Just around the corner
Food for thought, Gravy
Slap some on the mountain
And let me slide the diet
Speak to me Oh Wise One
The information Operator
Let me tell you a joke
I need to make a stranger laugh
For the rose of Camelot
Has wilted, in countless petals
All down around my feet
Like a crazed Mad woman
I hunt the thorns
For the thorns stay sweet
The only thing consistent
As the pendulum swings
The day is stolen, missing
And I think I can Identify the Suspect

Yes, wonderful, I love the words "The rose of camelot has wilted"
If only it were not so true.

"I hunt the thorns
For the thorns stay sweet"

a pang, not in my chest, but behind somehow...

your picture makes me think you are a witch (and that is such a compliment), or a worshiper of Earth (same difference, just the addition of ritual). And your words make me think you are a Seeker. Thank you for this emotional journey. Be well.

Dear Regina, do you seek a knight on horseback to take you from your ways, why are petals once of sweet now falling with the days? The thorns, are they your memories of which you so rely? It sounds to me, that something new is what you need to try.
Worry not so much of things and more about yourself, close your book of misery and lay it on the self.

It is sad to feel you sad, you must try to smile more, and what do they say (don’t worry, be happy)

All the best, interesting write.

The culprit is time for those of us who dare dream even in the waking hours. Enjoyed.

Sue: Thank you lovely one! They just come in droves sometimes. So glad you enjoyed my weirdness.

Catalinamoon: Thank you! Camelot is my poised exterior. The rose is my soft side. I will write for you in compliment of your compliment!

Howpeculiar: Well, what an interesting comment. I am earthly, It's my sign   I can be witchy sometimes, But I consider myself to be more of a Dirt Goddess! I love gardening! Thank you for reading!

Rick: Well, you are so dear! I am breaking away from that which binds me. No saddness, Just some confusion. I'm exploring the deeper elements in myself. Which is childs play, fantasy, daydreaming, and getting tough. All in a day's work! Make sense!

RSWells: Absolutely! Thank you so much for reading and your wise review.

Sven: You too! I appreciate you visiting!

Sincerely,
Regina

it was love that first drew me,
it is love that will keep me here...

A meal for the mind, Regina!  The first two sentences grabbed me tightly and kept me thinking...
