The Wish

Filled by the magic of desire
Found in the depth of some old prime.
Thrown by a comets dazzling fire
Released from its prison in time.

A wish, was never meant to be
Long gone on the outgoing tide
A swan of past age for me
A crave, hidden in strict confide.

A hope that sunned a hermits green
A hidden shun obscured away
A wish was never to be seen
A want that almost passed its day

Happened in a glories moment
In a whim of an instants thaw
In a moment of heavens vent
Given me with ecstasies awe.

Again, a gift was never to be
But some how, some way, sent to me.

You're never, ever, to old to dream
tis never too late for dreams and wishes to come true...
You need only to reach for your shining star..
you need only believe in you

Then you'd see the beauty of you that I do

wont you sing me your poetry
wont you take me to your home
wont you be for me forever
so Ill never be alone
youre my dream, its a beautiful thing

You have expressed well that instant moment of a gift's delight...

and gave it to us, in gold and gilt foil, bright...

You have a gift! As you so wonderfully express receiving one. Excellent.

Now this is me!  I'm filled with that desire, I'm in my prime   and I'm released from a prison in my writing.   How wonderful to read this today.
