Say goodbye to all the years, and say goodbye to all the tears... You gave it all you had, then tried some more... The memories will go away, and life continues come what may... It’s time to look ahead and close that door... The future may seem insecure... Your path ahead, not very sure... The dreams you thought you had, now you may lack... And when it comes to push or shove, it boils down to that thing called love.... It’s waiting up ahead, so don’t look back... No, don’t look back, there’s nothing there... Just those who really never cared... Except for what you gave, and they could take... Though time goes on, some things won’t change, no matter what you rearrange... So now you must move on, for your own sake... It’s hard to think it didn’t last, and when you look back on the past, you’ll see love fading, right before your eyes... But don’t be too hard on yourself... For it takes two to build that shelf, on which is kept your heartaches, and goodbyes... Take a look around, you’ll find there’s nothing you can’t leave behind... For things can be replaced, but not your heart... The door is opening up ahead... You hear life call, and what is said, becomes your destiny... So you must start... Don’t be afraid, you’re on the brink... Don’t care what others say or think... They only show intelligence they lack... For it’s your life, and finally, You have a turn to simply “BE”... Run straight into your future... DON’T LOOK BACK!! The road goes on forever, and the stories never end... |

Sunny Great words of wisdom but sometimes a broken heart gets in your way of thinking and the hurt is too new. You are right - memories will fade as the new future begins. |
