Now I understand
there is nothing that I know
that everything I thought was real
was nothing more than mere fool's gold.

I know now that I am corrupt
and all my laws were nothing but
a rationale to justify
insanity of simple lies.

Everything I told myself
is nothing more than gathered dust
my life has been neglected shelf
and no one else to blame but self

and so I leave this simple trust:
I live to love, because I must.
I thank you for the lesson learned.
Even as the fire burns
I am now forever charred
Proudly I will wear the scars
of living in the only truth--
strengthened by memories of you.

i enjoyed how this one flowed and also how it made me smile---the best lessons learned are those learned in love, and memories of our lovers stick with us always and only become more romantic with time, don't you agree?
I always enjoy your work

missed you baby...
love ya me twin
me

slow burn ...
light a candle for our love
So that we will always be
one on one in lovely love

Beautifully expressed Serenity....doesn't it always seem like the best lessons are most often the hardest to learn?

My Gawd, this is sooooo cool.  Have you been watching my life?!    As always you express powerfully what others fail to.  Girl, this rocks, your style and flair for expressing raw emotion is unbelievable.  I wish that I had written this, it echoes so much of my life hauntingly.  Well, through all my rambling, I'm sure you can tell that this awed me ~ This one's a keeper!

sometimes we just don't know what is real do we?  Your words are deep and moving with much thought. I read through a few times and still found something different.

and in that strength, we find comfort. . .

this is excellent. . . such emotion and depth of feeling. . .

Hey girl, you have said it again, and so exquisitely.
Must be a lot of us feeling like this, from the way the replies look.
Wouldn't happiness be an amazing, new experience?
Luv ya

go figure, huh?

and memories
the memories
remembered
are your shawl
in warmth they hold
the truths in you
the memories are all
my friend, your memories
can never ever be erased
and you have spoken legacy
of sunsets which have traced
the ev'rything inside your heart
and all you are, so real......
there's nothing
out there
anywhere
that memories
can't heal.........

i think at this point this is my most favorite,
though i have many more to read.
i feel guilty spreading as i please
-to words so true and under seen
for eyes have what thay have brought to me.
only the truest thoughts, for reals apon years so
my dear poet
do you have a book,
the simple word book,
you words, you words, your words,
as mothers spend there thread on holes neatly mend, to
looking glass,
kindly to you dear lady,
heart-blue red
i feel your beating threw the trama of
earth to the concrete of city

Kindly,

Oh, we blame ourselves for so much. Sometimes I feel we should be more gentle with our beings.

Nicely done as always... and as usual..I am impressed and enjoyed!
