 Left (Kathryn) Right (Sauni) Written for Kat From The Heart Of My Heart I thought I saw you among the evening fog out there Or maybe I created you just to ease my troubled mind A part of me still wanted to run as fast as I could to you But, the distance may have been for nothing this time... So, I just stared out at what might have been And, thanked the moon for the chance to see your face No matter if you are the image of my mind or not I allowed our souls to again embrace... I find myself praying endlessly to be sheltered from the rain So, for the sake of my sanity I have to believe That before these crying eyes stand my only way to freedom And, from the heart of your heart you're missing me... I remember when the nights were nothing more than peaceful And, my days were like a fairytale all day through I don't want anything to stand between your world and mine From the heart of my heart, Friend, I'm missing you... Where do the silent cries go to when they really can't be heard Maybe God holds them for a little while Maybe he sends the message to the heart of which they belong And, from the heart of his heart he lessens our miles... I thought I saw you among the evening fog out there Or maybe I created you just to ease my troubled mind From the heart of my heart I will be praying still That if I chose to run the distance it be ever so kind...
