Never forget all that we almost lost
With unspoken pain, unspoken thoughts
With fear of sharing who we really are
You left on a journey that took you far

Waiting here for your return
My soul cring out that you would learn
That what you searched for all along
Was waiting here with drink and song

When you reach and touch my cheek
And our eyes share a stare
Lets remember in our hearts that
We, were almost not there

When our bodies are intwined
And there's no such thing as time
Lets feel and see and smell
For We, were almost denied

Never forget what we almost lost
Let everyday be like our first and last
Never foget, lets learn from the past
So our souls wont pay the cost

Good to remember
Every day
It is the thread
It is the journey
