winter’s warm

let me tender
you
in the chill
of your
winter days

as drifting,
glistening
snow becomes
comfort under which
we snuggle,

when embers of
this, our fire,
are brought
up,
and in,

yes, I shall meet
you beneath
the mantle
of snow

holding yet
in open palm
this promise

and a smile
pledging
an oath of
a balmy
forever

I shall be
your
warm

and you
shall be
my
love

Very, very pretty.  Your words amaze me at times.  Heck, they amaze me most of the time!  You're an excellent writer.

I like the imagery in this.  And the image too.

Very very nice...

And if I
lie under mantle
covered in warmth
from that which would
freeze the heart
if
in pangs of guilt
the sun did eclipse
again the moon
I see reflecting
in you?

Soft and warm...gracefully spoken..."I will be your warm, and you shall be my love".

Such giving and truth...this piece...

Bowing...me to you.

Lady---Though winter has never been my favorite season...you make it sound inviting.  Great write!  Loved the last two verses, also.
