Too tired for tomorrow...
Wait, today IS tomorrow...

Why is it that on most
Next days
There is business to
Tend to,
Requiring my best,
When the clock
Nears three a.m.
And I must be
Out of bed
At eight?

Exhausted in
All ways,
Energy depleted...

Too lost to
Sleep,
Too tired
For these late,
Wakeful moments

When I must
Worry for tomorrow...

No, I mean
Today.

felt that before...it seems that the more you try to persuade yourself to sleep because of business that require your undivided attention "tomorrow", the more you can't sleep...sigh

You so perfectly expressed my thoughts, which is quite an accomplishment, considering I too am so exhausted I spend the days these days not only forgetting what I am doing, but forgetting what I'm thinking as I think it. And I sure hope that made sense...sigh...thanks...all I can say now is,

"yeah, me too..."

Thanks.

Meee Too! I'm an early riser, even if I went to bed at 4am, My body clock wakes at 6am. I want to take a hammer to my head sometimes. And just when you finally get to that deep sleep moment, you jerk awake thinking you missed the alarm! I hate that! Good write
Sincerely,
Regina

The great challenge is to learn to stop worrying and truly know that you are doing your best, with the understanding that everything happens for the best and that "this too shall pass"...  When you see life through such eyes, living becomes much more enjoyable and meaningful.

ShannonM, sounds like a week off and plenty of bed rest required here, a priority check on life and your expectations. Life is too short for this hectic type of life style, you made me feel tired just reading your words. A couple of early nights and some nice wine to send you to dream land and beyond.

Stay well and rested.

Rick

I like this one, reminds me of some latin american stores that have a sign, "no credit today, perhaps tomorrow". Tomorrow is today.
