From my palette I paint a picture of our love
using only words to describe how I feel
Your love is like a slow burning fever
that engulfs my entire body
the fire kept alive by your sensual touch
Your love reaches deep into my soul
as it courses throughout my body
like the tentacles of an octopus
wrapping itself around my being
as it consumes me

Your love is as tender and soft as
the velvety petals of a Summer rose
with a fragrance so heavenly that
my senses surrender to its beauty
Together our love is as strong
as the roots of a willow tree
as they cascade down the banks of the river

Our love is written in the stars
On our own shooting star we'll ride
Then we'll dive into the waves of desire
And return on the incoming tide
