I'm going to close, myself for renovation, 'gonna try to clean out, all my temptation. I'll pile up memories, in a heap with desire, and douse the embers, on a long burning fire. On satin sheets, no more will I sleep. Cotton will absorb, the tears that I weep. I'll change my tune, to the blues with a beat. Watch yesterday die, in the flames and the heat. I'll look around me, if I like what I see. Then I'll reopen, with a renovated me. This is a challenge, not sure I can win. So if I fail, I'll never open again ! If you can't make it so, |

Yeah.....and how many times I have renovated the same exact way, only to find out that my heart went ahead and hung a "Grand Opening" sign out there for the world to see!!! This is great, my friend, and up it goes!!!! The road goes on forever, and the stories never end... |

kitty, i have often felt the same longing to disregard the previous me and start totally afresh... but alas, i can never summon up enough courage to "close" myself...i wonder if that is bad?? |
