Soft sparkles of light,
take my hand and hold it tight.
Into fields of green be led,
for my span has surely sped.
I asked not why the decide,
with the wishes, I do abide.

Only a blink of darkness there,
then the bliss of peace and care.
No worries left, not feel of pain,
only my pathway to start again.
Comfort drifts around my soul,
lifting me up, making me whole.

To each it be for how it may,
but it was green fields for me to lay.
The feeling was there I wouldn’t be long,
before being surrounded with nature’s song.
For now I will rest in loving hands
then begin a new trip to other lands.

I would think that since I've known you, Sweet One that you have crossed over into many different lands. I'm sure those lands are all the more enriched for it! This is tender and sweet of course, and you know I live for tenderness and sweetness.

Beautifully written so tender and caring

Awww Logan!  Yes, I think that's just how it is...with maybe a library and an ocean mixed in...one to learn from and the other to cross before you can move on.  Thank you for showing me this place of peace.  Hugs!

I like the different possible interpretations of this one, Logan...  for now, I'll settle on it being a blissful nap in nature.

This was like a little vacation beside a cool pool in a green meadow...very well done, and I know I, for one, am deeply grateful that you read some inspiration from Martie, in order that we could all share from this...

Absolutely beautifully written, and my kind of place Logan., Martie wanted a library and a bridge, so if I may:

As I cross the bridge to library fair,
I take the knowledge from this side there.
Soon serenity is lighting up by soul,
Another bridge crossed, to get to my goal.
