Fashion

So I wipe my nose upon my sleeve
Now is that a reason for peeve?
I know there are some will say how gross
But it will not by itself osmose.

I’ve never cared for etiquette
It is a type of predicate.
But fashion never was my forte.
It is just a minor of display.

I do, what I do, to do the job
And I do not care if called a slob.
Etiquette only gets in the way
And I don’t have time for that delay.

So forgive my nose upon my sleeve
Though I change my sleeves like handkerchiefs.
At least I do not snivel all day
That can be taken however you may.

So once again I say of fashion
You were never really my passion.

Fads and fashion are the rule
for the person whose the fool
so stick to what is right for you
in all that you would say and do

In agreement here....you rebel, you!

Style, I say!  -- not fashion.  This poem made me smirk in an enjoyable way.

LOL! This is truly a great confession. We all do something unfashionable or unstylish, but we don't have the guts to tell. Very enjoyable read.
Sincerely,
Regina
