NOT ENOUGH

Should I assume another life?

even known, a life is not enough

Should I pretend I'm one of them?

this reluctant social animal
cowers
in the face of new failure.

In all honesty, I'm not sure I understand this the way you intend it...but I loved these lines.  Thanks.

Thanks all for stopping by . . .

Snoog...
Your whole life?  WOW.
To coin a phrase: "You are who you assume to be."

JLR
If one is to assume another life or pretend to be another, then the implied social failure  might, fearfully, be repeated.
Does that help?

Glad you liked.  I appreciate your compliment.  (Verbose I'm not.)
