~*~

dreams of your white knight
no man can live up to them
fantasy makes dreams
true love is reality
like a touch or kiss
that burns like fire in being
creating yearning in you

Ahh, thanks for doing this. And you know what, plenty of men can live up to my ideals. I just don't happen to ever meet them.   But I will. This is perfect.

"no man can live up to them"

no man?.....is she dreaming of the impossible?

I hope it's not true....
and her dreams could come true....

I loved it nevertheless......a really nice piece.....

Thank you

A wonderful piece!  But I still have to agree and believe that the Prince can someday ride up, and "take you away from all this".  Idealistic, perhaps, but like Sandra, I still hold dear the fairytale...

A very wonderful gift of poetry to one that truely deserves to find "her" white knight.  It DOES exist and I enjoy knowing that she has a dream that she KNOWS will one day come true.  Very nice write indeed.

Keep dreaming!!!

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.

"You gotta have a dream
if you don't have a dream
how you gonna make a dream come true?"

Dreams do need a little of the human mixed in with them...because there is no such thing as perfect. Right?

Enjoyed your poem!
