Repost:

          Isabel my Delilah

Has sheared the passions from my brain
To the shape of a cull-de-sac
Whose nature is the single lane
The one way in and no way back.

It starts a simple roundelay
As lyric stirs a gentle brew.
Frivolous as a breeze in play
And lethal as a deadly coup.

Driving home what crass impales,
Contusions damage the beach
Where pain engraves the details
Breaching the mind with its leach.

I opened a pandora's box
Exposed the contents under lid.
A cauldron full of paradox
That's mummified my very id.

There is no doubt she rules the den
For she's sheered my locks once again.

Geez, better build a study over the garage, with one key. Behind every great man is a great woman, maybe should keep this one in front of you.

me thinks ya need to give your rose of suppose some raspberry tea and poetry

Even when youre in the dog house...
you write cooler than cool ...
love the word play and clever verbiage in this Stinky.

Take Isabel and Randy to the beach for a picnic

slow burn ...
light a candle for our love
So that we will always be
one on one in lovely love

take away the sharp from thee
and let this man's locks flow free
for his strength is our desire
and his loss brings us our dire

RSWells, Something to think about. LOL

JM, She likes raspberry tea but not poetry. Shes no Tinkerbell, LOL

Lady, Clever retort. *L*

Nan, You don't understand, the cull-de-sac is perminant. LOL Hugs and kisses.

Irish, It means you have a Samson on your hands. LOL

Pure thought vitamins, Sy...  I find it frightening, however, if/when a significant other does not/cannot/will not relate to an artist's needs...  makes me think of the term "irreconcilable differences"...  A strong depiction, in either case...

I like the way you expressed this strength stealer.
Sincerely,

Sy--Care not I for lock or curl,
