I Call You Out
~*Marge Tindal*~

Make no mistake, I call you out
Shadow of half-hidden doubt
Stand before me, face to face
I will defeat you in this place

Demon deep, though you may be
No longer will you hide in me
Take your leave, I will not cower
Recessed in curtains of your power

I tremble not, in drench of fear
You will not conquer from the rear
Face to face I will dethrone
The power that you think you own

I call you out - turn around
Fortress in myself is found
Fright of you - I have none
Fear, I feel your time is done

Embodied in new attitude
I proclaim victory in magnitude~

Without reading others replies, this one needs to be given to anyone who has ever dealt with depression...as a sign of hope that they, too, can deal with it, given inner strength and TLC from kind and loving friends.

At least, this is how this one struck me.  Well done, our Marge!

Marge~

I love your strength in this - I have dealt with depression and I relate very much to your words, it should be a anthem for many.  Well penned with that classic Margie-style

SueTang~
Trying to share with others that strength lies within.
Thank you.

Mysteria~
Hoping it helps any and all who might have need of the lesson.

Gail~
You go girl !

Maeve~
It is with the reader that I gladly share.

RSWells~
Thank you.

LadyInWhite~
Recognition of fear is half the battle of it's defeat.
Face to face confrontation can defeat fear,
with help, love and support.

Melissa~
By recognizing fear ... and 'calling it out'
we can often beat it to the punch.
*Hugs*

Vicky~
You know how I feel for those who need most to hear this~
Hoping to help shed a little light on internal strength !
Thanks, hon.
