Little Bandit Of Surprise
~*Marge Tindal*~

Little bandit of surprise
gazing through nighttime eyes
Waiting for prime opportunity
to reek havoc on all you see

Trash cans clatter to the ground
giving slightest hint of you around
Better hurry to your hiding place
before that Balladeer gives chase

hehe, aww!     cute poem with a cute picture!  Now how could Balladeer resist such an innocent look?

These are so cute, we have them out here in the country too. This one looks like he knew you wrote this poem just for him.

Marge--Racoons are so cute, but man, they can be mean...I've chased them out of my patio and had them turn and hiss at me till I was the one running.  But I don't have any problem with squirrels...My husband is a teddy bear.    Loved this!

Marge:  When we moved to the country 20 years ago, we started feeding the raccoons who came into our yard at dark, because they looked so skinny.  Still feeding them and all the offspring they bring in, although some of them branch out on their own every year, so it's a manageable crew.  The babies are adorable. They are very tame and we could make pets of them, if we wanted to. They have never once gotten into our garbage cans.  Suppose it's because there's always food for them?

Being a Swamp woman myself ... I know the joy of these little critters, up-close and personal.
Yep !  They don't need to scavenge the hand that feeds 'em !
Thank you for enjoying it so.

Rascalx~
So pleased you like it ... they are certainly precious in their element.
