Just For The Shell Of It
~*Marge Tindal*~

~Colonized coral
on memories shore
Building castles of evermore
Riding waves in undertowing rhyme
Just for the shell of it most of the time
Lackluster clusters of marine treasures delight
Scattered upon seashores explored in the night
Sprinkled like starfish upon retreating horizon
Multitudinous discoveries continuously rising
Spread on shore in pearls strung
Just for the shell of it
I have to have one

I CAN ALMOST FEEL THE SAND
AS WE LEAVE FOOTPRINTS
IN OUR SEARCH.......

even smoke does not hide
the beauty of this one

Very nice poem, with that little touch of humor in the title.
Makes me think of my little granddaughter looking for shells at the lake, and of course there weren't any..Beach..get me to the beach..

I think I am on my way to the beach! How's the weather your way? Lots of rain here in Jacksonville.
Just for the shell of it, Jax beach here I come!
