String taut
Bowed for arched
Parabolic parable
Aims not at

But above,

to allow
For gravitational drops
In expectations

As distance between
And strength of pull
Combine to dictate
The accuracy of
Previous estimations

Free flight
Always controlled
By actions and planning
Of archer,

Still effected by wind

As words uttered
Find marks
Left behind
By other
Arrows

...still affected by wind...

how this brings back the days of archery...and those silly gusts of wind from the valley...

good read!  Enjoyed!

This one's dense with symbolism and thought.  I read it about four times and still get conflicting interpretations -- a good mental exercise to think about the applications of this one, Ron.

like this...no...love this...love the way you weave the reader down until just the last and then give that twist, that makes us want and need to go back up and read again
