Seven years ago I first met a sweet girl from Japan.
She soon not only became like a sister but also a best friend.
Not able to speak one word of the english language because she came from a far away land.
She attended school and learned a difficult language so fast.
Her presence in my life I thought would always last.
Now unfortunately I see her no more, for she has gone back home.
However she still lives in my heart, miles between us will never let my memories of her part.
There are many times when I feel so alone, my sister on the other side of the world no longer close to her second home.
She was told if she went to Japan for a month she could stay with my family,
Five days ago she received an e-mail denying her access back into Canada.
If I would of known I would of said good-bye,
With every single tear in my being allowing me to cry.
I long to hear her voice and have her be by my side,
Please God help me in this painful journey without my sweet friend by my side.
