I didn't want anyone to lose their poetry and hard work, so in case none of you have seen this, you need to turn on the news. There is a worm they are calling code red that as of 8 tonight becomes active and will eat away your computer. It has been circulating for some time, but not doing damage so you would not know if it is on your computer yet. It has simply been growing undetected preparing for tonight. The news said that you can get a patch for it from microsoft right now, and I have been told nortons has the cure also currently. Once it becomes active, being able to download the cure will be very difficult if not impossible, as it will begin its work. Turning off you computer will stop it, but once it is turned back on, it will pick up where it left off. Hope tomorrow finds all of you doing well, and intact. Miranda |
