The Door is Open

What power flows this flowers bite?
That changes day back into night.
What thoughts parade within my mind?
Back in the depths I cannot find?

What image floats my night and day?
What sense can bring it here to stay?
What must I do to make it true?
To take the veil away from you

You hover o’er my wake and sleep
But always stay within the deep.
How can I bring the sun to shine?
How can I hold your heart to mine?

I give to you this flower held
Just hold it once and we will meld
It holds a power over me
I would it hold it over thee.

The door is open to this goal
Please enter in and make me whole.

I like this piece, especially the feel of it.  I don't quite understand this line:
......"I would it hold it over thee."

OH MY!!!
OH SY ... OH *SIGH*
OH do I love this poem
(ohhowilovewhenyouwritelikethis)

~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~
What flowers does thy mind's garden grow?
What blossoms bloom beneath thou's sun aglow?
Might there be thy rose of suppose bursting in satin petaled show?
Do Daffodils and Daisies dance in tenderly tended rows?
The path to Eden lies in thy verdant mind
The stairway to Heaven in ascending wind
The gate to Shangri-La, island paradise of kind
This secret garden ... thy quest of find.
'Tis there that butterflies are free
'Tis there birds sing in symphonic harmony
'Tis there time touches infinity
'Tis there fate meets sweet destiny
Which door to look behind? ... the key to enter 'tis not hard to find
'tis there in thy wisdom's rhyme ... and in thy gifted poets mind
flower power? ... OH YEAH... *L*
Seymour~
Beauty of the flower power
Shared through visions from yon' bower
Poetic lines so gracefully writ
That is but the half of it
Light of written words of Sy-*sigh*
Within your inkwell filled to sky
Spilling love of truest form
Poetic phrases gently borne
*You have the power yet to stir
Flowering verse in softest purr~
Thank you sweet poet~
I love you~
Sy...such vivid emotions you have unfurled.
As you and the flower hold the girl...
Such meaningful phrases you have penned,
But then, that's expected again and again...
Loved this piece....as all the others
Sy:  I have often seen the power of a flower, but I think in truth if truth be told, the giver is where lies the gold.
